Actor Elijah Wood Dines at Dime Store

OMG, OMG, OMG — we were in full geek-out mode today in downtown Detroit when our homeboy from the Shire, Frodo Baggins himself, stopped in for brunch at Dime Store Detroit.

Actor and producer Elijah Wood, best known for The Lord of the Rings, brought smiles (and a few gasps) from staff and guests alike — because really, who doesn’t love Frodo?

By all accounts, he’s as kind and down-to-earth as you’d hope. He even took the time to pose for photos with our team — and totally made our day in the process.

Thanks for being such a good sport, Elijah. We’re huge fans, and it was truly an honor to have you as our guest.
