With Movement Festival just around the corner, the city’s already heating up — and we got an early dose of techno greatness. On April 27, Kevin Saunderson, one of the founding fathers of Detroit techno, stopped by Dime Store Detroit before performing at the Detroit Pistons halftime show.
We were honored to welcome Kevin, fuel him up before his set and chat a bit about brunch and beats. He’s not just a pioneer in the music world — he’s also a genuinely kind, grounded guy. The energy he brought in? Infectious. Consider it an unofficial kickoff to one of Detroit’s biggest weekends.
