Dime Store Featured in Rochester City Lifestyle’s Women’s Issue

We’re thrilled to be featured in the May Women’s Issue of Rochester City Lifestyle, with a beautifully written article that dives deeper than most into who we are, how we started, and what drives us every day — especially at our Rochester Hills location.

The piece highlights our origin story (yes, the name Dime Store has meaning), how we grew from a small brunch spot in downtown Detroit to opening a second location in Rochester Hills, and why scratch-made food and genuine hospitality are at the core of everything we do.

It also gave me, Ann-Marie Murphy, one of the co-owners, a chance to share what it’s been like growing a restaurant in a city I love — and how lucky we are to be joined by partners George Sleator and Mitch Freem, who bring heart, hustle, and serious brunch chops to our Rochester Hills shop.

We loved the photos they captured of the space (and our team!), and we’re honored to be featured among other amazing local women and small businesses in the area.
