Frequently Asked Questions

Do you take reservations?

No. We don’t take reservations of any kind, including holidays.

We seat all guests on a first come, first served basis once the full party has arrived.

How long is the wait?

Wait times vary depending on the day, time and what’s happening downtown. Large events or conferences can increase volume.

Weekends are typically the busiest, and we’re often on a wait for much of the day. Late morning through early afternoon (around 11am–1pm) tends to be peak.

We use a text-based waitlist. When you arrive, we’ll add your name and text you when your table is ready so you’re free to walk around while you wait.

If you prefer to stay, the building lobby has plenty of seating.

Where should I park?

There are several paid parking garages and street parking options near the Chrysler House. Availability can vary depending on the day and what’s happening downtown.

We validate the first two hours of parking at the Financial District Garage. You can view nearby parking options and pricing here.

How large of a party can you accommodate?

We’re a small space, so large groups can be tricky.

We can typically accommodate parties of up to 8 guests. Groups larger than 6 may be split across tables depending on availability.

Do you offer carryout or takeout?

Yes. We offer carryout Monday through Friday.

During peak hours, we may pause takeout so our kitchen can keep up with a full dining room. We do not offer carryout on weekends.

Do you offer private events or have a private room?

We don’t have a private dining room, but we do offer full restaurant buyouts for private events on weekdays after 4pm.

Events are hosted in our main dining room and customized based on your group and menu needs. You can find more details on our Private Events page.

Do you offer catering?

Not at this time, but we still offer private restaurant buyouts on weekdays after 4pm.

Do you have gluten-free options?

We don’t have a dedicated gluten-free menu, but many dishes can be modified.

Omelettes, hashes, salads and our house fries are naturally gluten-free. We can also serve sandwiches over greens instead of bread.

Please let your server know about any dietary needs and we’ll guide you through the options.

Is Dime Store wheelchair accessible?

Yes. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible, and accessible restrooms are available in the building lobby.

Do you have outdoor seating?

No. We do not offer outdoor seating.
