After a lot of thought and some very difficult conversations, we’ve made the decision to permanently close our Rochester Hills location. Our last service will be Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 10.
When we opened Dime Store Rochester Hills in 2024, we genuinely believed we were building something that would become a long-term part of the community. Over the past couple of years we poured a tremendous amount of time, energy and heart into trying to make that happen.
But restaurants ultimately have to work financially. The simple truth is that this one didn’t. We tried a lot of different things along the way to make it sustainable, but in the end we ran out of runway.
To the guests who came in, brought friends, spread the word and supported us along the way, thank you. Those moments meant a lot to us and to the amazing team who worked hard every day.
We’re proud of what we built, even if it didn’t last as long as we hoped.
The good news is that Dime Store in downtown Detroit isn’t going anywhere. We’ll still be there doing what we’ve always done: scratch-made breakfast, brunch and lunch, the way we believe it should be.
Peace and love,
Ann-Marie, Larry, Jeff, George & Mitch
